(301) Pumpkin seeds [生活の知恵]
I steamed pumpkin seeds and open their shells to get green seeds in them.
I usually don't eat pumpkin seeds. Maybe, Japaneses people don't have a habit of eating pumpkin seeds. I asked my father, aged eighty four, if he had eaten pumpkin seeds. He just answered no.
But when my daughter ate fruite granola, I found green pumpkin seeds in it. I wondered how they get green seeds from their shells. Anyway I found one of ways to get green ones inside the seeds.

Pumpkin seeds are eaten outside Japan. I bought salted pumpkin seeds in a supermarket in Saudi Arabia, and in Bahrain.
