Njoroge wins Beppu-Oita marathon

Comedian-turned runner Hiroshi Neko, who obtained Cambodian citizenship so that he could have a shot at running in this summer's London Olympics, slashed his personal best by more than seven minutes to finish 50th at 2:30:26.

Comedian Hiroshi Neko comes closer to London Olympics with new personal best
"I started (running) with a slightly guilty conscience," says Neko, who became involved with marathons through his work as a comedian. His feelings toward the sport, however, have changed over time, he admits.
